Ginger Money
Found this UK designer while I was looking for inspiration. His work is very creative. I most of all like the illustrative quality of his designs. His name is Tom Lane here’s his bio:
I am Tom Lane, born and raised in a small rural town known as the Shire by the locals (no seriously), and now, after a long and arduous journey, living 60 miles down the road in Bristol with my wife to be.
I design, illustrate and make things.10 years ago I caught a bug, an insatiable need to create, a need to get better at creating. I’ve been chasing the sense of achievement that comes from putting an idea down, seeing it grow, take shape, and have it exist ‘out there’. I’m one of those lucky people that make a living doing what they love.
Shortly after graduating from the University of the West England I embarked on a freelance career that quickly developed into a specialist design, typography, and illustration service – working mainly with clients in Bristol. Overtime, with many new projects, the mighty power of the interweb, and a good dollop of help from the press, I built my profile and began working with lots of lovely people from all sorts of places around the world. My clients usually come from the arts & media, advertising, publishing and
social sectors.
My style is varied. My approach to a project is determined by my understanding of its needs and is not a
default setting.
When I’m rarely not making things I like to keep healthy, play with gadgets, get outside, or simply keep distracted long enough to get some rest.

Cool Artist: Alex Cherry
I found this artist’s website by accident. I was looking up some brushes for Photoshop and came across his work. Above is his piece “Won’t Get Fooled Again” it’s very graphic (design term) in the style of art. Probably because Cherry himself is a designer by day. I like his work for it’s simple and sometimes complex graphic nature as it utilizes layers, color, photographic effects, etc. to produce a creative end result. Find his work in the following link.
Cool Artists
Here’s a sculptor by the name of Tom Otterness. His work is cartoonish and full of whimsy that offers commentary on such issues as social and economic classes. His work is cast in bronze and meant to be touched by the viewer and viewed up close.
A little info about Otterness:
Tom Otterness (b. 1952 in Wichita, Kansas) is an American sculptor whose works adorn parks, plazas, subway stations, libraries, courthouses and museums in New York—most notably in Rockefeller Park in Battery Park City[1] and in the 14th Street/8th Avenue subway station—and other cities around the world. He was the first artist ever to have contributed a balloon to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Kris Kuksi
Gifted Artist that you should check out: Kris Kuksi
Born March 2, 1973, in Springfield Missouri and growing up in neighboring Kansas, Kris spent his youth in rural seclusion and isolation along with a blue-collar, working mother, two much-older brothers and an absent father. Open country, sparse trees, and alcoholic stepfather, perhaps paved the way for an individual saturated in imagination and introversion. His fascination with the unusual lent to his macabre art later in life. The grotesque to him, as it seemed, was beautiful. Reaching adulthood his art blossomed and created a breakthrough of personal freedom from the negative environment experienced during his youth. He soon discovered his distaste for the typical American life and pop culture, feeling that he has always belonged to the ‘Old World’. Yet, Kris’ work is about a new wilderness, refined and elevated, visualized as a cultivation emerging from the corrupt and demoralized fall of modern-day society. A place were new beginnings, new wars, new philosophies, and new endings exist.
In personal reflection, he feels that in the world today much of mankind is oftentimes frivolous and fragile, being driven primarily by greed and materialism. He hopes that his art exposes the fallacies of Man, unveiling a new level of awareness to the viewer. His work has received several awards and prizes and has been featured in over 100 exhibitions in galleries and museums worldwide including the Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery. Kris’ art can also be seen in a number of international art magazines, book covers and theatrical posters. Kris’ art is featured in both public and private collections in the United States, Europe, and Australia that include individuals such as Mark Parker (Nike CEO), Kay Alden (three time Emmy award winning writer for Young and the Restless & Bold and the Beautiful), Fred Durst (musician, and film director), and Chris Weitz (movie director The Golden Compass & American Pie).
